Preschool Education degree programs
An associate's degree in kindergarten and preschool education program prepares students to work with young children and serves as a transfer track toward a bachelor's degree in teaching. On its own it can qualify graduates for preschool and childcare teaching roles and for CDA-style early childhood credentials, but that is different from a state K-12 license. It suits community-college students who want to start working with young children affordably while keeping the door open to becoming a licensed kindergarten teacher later.
