Multicultural Education degree programs

A master's in multicultural education program prepares teachers to serve linguistically and culturally diverse classrooms through equity-focused, culturally responsive instruction. It draws two kinds of students: already-licensed teachers who want to strengthen their practice with diverse learners, and career-changers who pursue an initial-licensure track that folds a multicultural emphasis into supervised student teaching. Graduates move into classroom roles, diversity and equity coordination, curriculum work, and community-engagement positions in schools and districts.
