Middle School Education degree programs

An associate's degree in middle school education program is a transfer and pre-education track, meaning it covers your first two years of general education and introductory teaching coursework before you move on to a bachelor's program. It suits community college students who know they want to teach grades five through eight but want to save money on the early credits. On its own it does not license you to teach, so plan on it as the opening stage of a four-year degree that ends in state certification.
