Deaf and Hard of Hearing Education degree programs

This specialty prepares teachers of deaf and hard-of-hearing students, working with children from early childhood through high school. Coursework combines special education foundations with subjects specific to hearing loss, such as American Sign Language, language and literacy development, audiology basics, and instructional strategies for deaf and hard-of-hearing learners.
