Autism Special Education degree programs
A master's in the education program and teaching of individuals with autism prepares educators to serve students across the autism spectrum, from early intervention through transition to adulthood. It draws people who want to specialize in this population, including career-changers pursuing a first special-education license and current teachers adding an autism endorsement to work they already do. Graduates teach in dedicated and inclusive classrooms, coordinate behavior and communication supports, and often collaborate with therapists and families to build individualized programs.
